PT. Asia Kimindo Prima was established on 23 January 1996. Initially, it was built to market and distribute industrial chemical products as well as to manufacture burn lime in Padang, West Sumatra. In 1999, AKP added a new product line: fertilizers. It started to market and distributes fertilizers products to customers.
During the last decade, plantation business has grown rapidly which cause the demand and the usage of fertilizers for plantation increase tremendously as well. R & D experts has done excellent job in their research to find the best fertilizers formula mixture for each type of plants by which will bring success to our customers. This opportunity has lead AKP to expand its business along with market emergence in Indonesia.

Deskripsi Pekerjaan
PT. Asia Kimindo Prima is looking for an experienced Sales Agronomist to help provide services and knowledge about Agronomist products to customers and sell products to all sales areas in need.

Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct communication processes with farmers, agricultural organizations, dealers / retailers and provide specialist agronomic product services to customers in the field.
- Marketing products and gaining new customers in the fertilizer industry.
- Responsible for product needs in the market.
- Carry out the communication process, understand customer desires and introduce products and services owned by the company.
- Helping customers with product selection that suits their needs.
- Build and implement plans / strategies to help problems faced by customers and help maintain maximum production from customers.
- Build and maintain good relationships with customers.
- Organize and coordinate marketing and technical activities in the field, including meetings with farmers, product demos and product trials in the field.
- Update any information about product technicalities, product developments, market trends, competitor strategies through information in the field, development and self-training.
Qualification:
- Age between 24 – 34 yo.
- Bachelor’s Degree of Agribusiness / Agriculture is a must.
- Have at least 2 years’ experience as sales in Agrochemical / Fertilizer / Chemical Products / Herbicides / Pesticide Industry.
- Have knowledge and relationships with the Fertilizer Industry and its distribution (Dealers, Retailers and Plantations).
- Have a good understanding of Agronomist Marketing.
- Good oral and written communication skills for English.
- Target-oriented with good analytical skills, high determination, firm, independent, have good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Familiar with work in the field (remote / plantation).
- Have good computer skills.
- Physically and spiritually healthy.
- It is preferable to have SIM A and SIM C.
- Domicile in Medan – North Sumatra.
